“Look at the nations and watch— and be utterly amazed. For I am going to do something in your days that you would not believe, even if you were told.” Habakkuk 1:5 NIV

There are many passages that prophesy of a better day! Several prophetic voices, such as Johnny Enlow and Julie Green have been talking about what we are about to experience being like a second exodus. Great judgment and greater deliverance. A cleansing and a huge wealth transfer. Even the Day of the Lord is both great and terrible (Joel 2:31). To one group it is great and awesome, to the other it is terrible and dreadful!

There is a sense that what’s coming may feel like it is lingering, but when it comes, it will be suddenly (Habakkuk 2:3). We have seen the signs pointing to this day. This day seems so huge that it is difficult to grasp. It is so outside our box of understanding or experience. Believe it or not, this is the greatest day since Christ walked on the earth. Remember, trust in the Lord and not in what you see (Proverbs 3:5).

Isaiah prophesied about God changing a nation in a day (Isaiah 66:8). John prophesied that Babylon will fall in one hour (Revelation 18:10). God has done it before, so shake off the doubt and disbelief that He will do it again.

Ask God to grant you eyes to see what He is doing, and perseverance to hold on to Him in faith. Ask Him to prepare you for this second exodus, of the great deliverance and transference of wealth. Ask Him to prepare Athens for this great and terrible ‘suddenly’ that is about to burst upon our city!
