“My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NIV)

There is much weariness in the body of Christ. So much prayer, so many prayer initiatives, so much fasting, so much carnage, with no real relief in sight! Yet, right now God is inviting us to step into the second wind of the Holy Spirit. It is like a long distance runner pressing through the wall and gaining a new strength. May the Lord fill you today and strengthen your feeble hands so that you can continue to press in on behalf of our nation! In your weakness may you find new strength! May He strengthen you so that you can bring strength to others. Say out loud, “In my weakness I am strong!”

God is using this season to train us. So many of us are stepping up into new levels of prayer, intercession and warfare. We are barely used to the level we’ve just arrived in and yet He calls us to step into an even newer level. God is releasing us into a new authority, that is coming out of a place of weakness, even weariness. We are on the verge of (re)birthing a nation and there is a weariness that comes in childbirth.

Take time today to pray for others who are weak from the battle and/or weary from the birthing process. Take some time to meditate and pray on this passage…

“Strengthen those who are discouraged. Energize those who feel defeated. Say to the anxious and fearful, ‘Be strong and never afraid. Look, here comes your God! He is breaking through to give you victory! He comes to avenge your enemies. With divine retribution He comes to save you!’” Isaiah 35:4-5 (TPT)
