And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who called, and the house was filled with smoke.” Isaiah 6:4 (ESV)

This is an hour when God is shaking whatever can be shaken (Hebrews 12:26-29). When God shows up, the physical world reacts, and shakes in His presence! As the new church prayed, the Holy Spirit fell upon them, the room shook and they were filled with boldness (Acts 4:31). Paul & Silas were worshiping loudly in their dark dungy prison cell at midnight and suddenly the place shook freeing them from their chains and confinement (Acts 16:25-26). In the year that King Uzziah died Isaiah had a vision of the LORD in the temple and the very thresholds shook (Isaiah 6:1-8).

Let’s pray that the very core of our city would be shaken! That everything that can be shook would be! Pray that City Hall, the seat of the Mayor and Commissioners would be shaken. Pray that the Police Department would be shook. Pray that every corner of UGA including the president, administration, faulty, coaches, janitors and students and everyone else connected would be shook. Cry out that every school campus in our city and everyone on them would be shook! Pray that every business would be shook. And in all this shaking, cry out for God’s presence, His glory, His holiness would fill our city. Pray that a tangible and terrible yet great holy fear of God would be poured upon our city. And pray for your church to be an epicenter of this great shaking, that your pastor and leaders would be shaken to the core by God’s presence, that the very essence of your church would be changed by this holy shaking. And ask God to shake in you whatever needs to be shaken in this hour, that you would be completely standing on the Rock, and that you would become a conduit for God’s presence, with signs, wonders and miracles in our city!
