Our God is the same God who spoke and the heavens and earth were created. Our God is the One who said He is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Our God, who always displayed His presence with shaking the earth, releasing miracles, signs and wonders. He is the same God who revealed mysteries and revelation from His throne. He who was and is and is to come (Revelation 4:8). He has not stopped being who He is and doing what He does! The devil has so much of the church deceived believing God no longer does what He used to do. All this gives the enemy a platform for more deception, lies, death, theft and destruction (John 10:10). It is absolute nonsense for a Spirit filled follower of Jesus Christ not to believe in tongues, prophecy, as well as signs, wonders and miracles. As the Church awakens to all that God has for us we will no longer cower at the devil, but will overcome the very gates of hell as we move forward in God’s authority and power!
Pray that the veil over the church, starting with your church, would be removed completely. Ask God to awaken faith to believe in the Him as He has always been, and in all that He wants to do through His people today! Pray for your pastor and church leadership to relinquish all control to God, allowing the Holy Spirit to move through every aspect of your church. Pray that the weekly services would be surrendered to the Holy Spirit, even if it gets messy! Pray that those who resist would fall on their faces and repent, or leave! Ask God to release a greater measure of faith to raise the dead, and do even greater things than Jesus did (John 14:12). Ask Him to do it in and through you!
