On May 1, here in Athens, we participated in the National Day of Prayer. From 7am to 9pm people across our city prayed. We organized prayer gatherings at certain times and a prayer guide for people to pray along wherever they were. We prayed and got down on our knees in repentance on the courthouse steps. We prayer walked UGA, downtown and other places. Some 10 plus churches gathered together in a very unified expression of diversity to finish the day off. It was a powerful event with 8 different pastors leading it. A movement is growing. People are praying and finding a greater grace to pray. Please join in wherever you are. You don’t want to miss out on what God is doing, AND is about to do!!!

 LORD, I have heard of Your fame;
I stand in awe of Your deeds, LORD.
Repeat them in our day,
in our time make them known;
in wrath remember mercy.
