I have recently been asked about my not so subtle shift over the past few months to focusing on our nation instead of specifically on Athens. My answer was clear and immediate. As our nation goes so will Athens. Right now, our nation is in the balance. The battle for our nation is not over. As Jesus said, you can gain the world but lose your soul (Matthew 16:26). We could see God do great things in our city, but if He doesn’t move in our nation it will all get swallowed up by the godless, socialist anti-Christian leadership. Our country has a God given destiny to be a sheep nation that takes the Gospel to the nations. Right NOW that destiny is being viciously attacked. Our religious freedoms are at stake! Churches, as we have known them, are under threat. Godless laws are in the pipeline. The constitution is under siege. We must fight on our knees then obey and fear God rather than man! I’m unequivocally called to Athens Georgia, to prepare for a move of God here and beyond by stirring citywide prayer. But right NOW that means I must fight for our nation. Please join me!!!
