The concept of “co-exist,” as seen on bumper stickers, implies that all religions, faiths and ways to God are equal! Co-existence is a lie! All religions/faiths are not equal! Not even close to being true! It sounds nice, but is very harmful to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The concept behind co-exist must have originated from the same cesspool of thought that instead of giving trophies to the best team and players, everybody should get one just for participating. That’s what a co-exist award is all about, it’s a participation award. Let’s all get along and play well together. But nonetheless, our Lord God Almighty is the only God and Jesus Christ is the only way to Him!
False unity is no unity at all! There is only one way to God, to heaven, to eternal life. There is only one true God, who is above all ‘gods!’ Jesus Christ is the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that He is Lord! No one else came back to life, just as Jesus said He would. Mohammad is still dead. Buddha is dead! Allah is a demon at best! All these “gods” will, like Dagon (1 Samuel 5:2-4) will bow to Jesus!
Today, thank the Lord for showing you the way to eternal life through Jesus Christ! Ask Him to allow your life to display the goodness and powerful presence of God to all those who are deceived by these lesser “gods!” Pray for those you personally know who are ensnared by these lesser “gods!” May your life shine a light upon them. And pray that the deception of folks in bondage to these “gods” across our city would be broken!
