Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Proverbs 22:6 (ESV)

Children are not meant to have to deal with gender issues. God created them with their gender. It is written right into their DNA code! They’re meant to dream about growing up and someday being an astronaut, a fireman, a doctor, a baseball player, an engineer, a scientist, etc. Parents, it is on you to protect and nurture your children. It’s not for you to create gender neutral environments so your kids can decide if they are x, y or z! That is wicked and sinful!

And pastor, it’s on you to educate and equip your congregation regarding what the Word says about these matters. We have this confusion because much of the church has been silent about it, leaving parents get their information from worldly sources!

It is said that the best time to plant a tree was 20 years ago. The next best time is today! Same is true about teaching our congregations the full truth. Best time to teach the full Word of God about tough issues was years ago. Next best time to do it is right now, and every Sunday. Your pulpit is a blessing and a responsibility. You are accountable before God how you use your pulpit (James 3:1). In fact, every second of your service should be holy, and dedicated to God, not doing what the world can do, but the things that only the church can do.

Please pray for those children who are struggling with their gender because the church has been silent, and their parents have simply followed the instructions of the world. Pray for your pastor to be bold and courageous, preaching the full word of God, without apology! Pray for Children’s Pastors, Youth Pastors and volunteers to have wisdom and boldness to speak about these issues. Pray that our worship services would be more about drawing people into holy environments and experiencing God’s presence than of letting the world infiltrate our programming.
