“An athlete is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules.” 2 Timothy 2:5 (ESV)
If an Olympic competitor cheats in an event and thus steals the metal from another, that person is summarily disqualified and removed. The medal would be stripped from them and they would not be considered a champion or winner, rather they would be shamed and shunned. They would be removed from their platform and the rightful winner would be given the prize!
