This past month, Iceland has been shaking with over 50,000 earthquakes. Now the visible lava has shown up in an eruption and it has greatly surprised the observing scientists. They say that the eruption occurred in a new place that they were not expecting. The brightness of the lava lit up the whole sky. The other established volcanoes in Iceland are now showing new activity as well. Perhaps the new name for Iceland is Fireland ~ (tweaked from Johnny Enlow Facebook post – March 20, 2021).
As mentioned yesterday, the natural, physical realm will often reveal the spiritual invisible realm. God is indeed doing so much more right now, in this time of acceleration. And we are only seeing the beginning. I believe much will be happening in the very near future as we watch God break forth into the natural, physical realm.
Please be praying for the Church to wake up to the signs around us. It is so easy to be disappointed, frustrated, fearful and weary as things seem to be taking longer than we had thought. It is so easy to fix dates and deadlines on God, but He will do what He wants to do, when He is ready to do it. Nevertheless, Jesus said we may not know the hour, but we will know the season (Matthew 24:36). That’s how God works. Ask God for eyes to see His hands. Ask Him for ears to hear His voice. Ask Him for a discerning mind to understand what He is doing right now. Ask Him to grant you the gift of the tribe of Issachar, who could discern the times. Pray this for your pastor, for your church and for the churches across our city and nation. This is the hour for the true body of Christ to awaken and arise!!!
