“I have heard all about You, Lord. I am filled with awe by Your amazing works. In this time of our deep need, help us again as You did in years gone by. And in Your anger, remember Your mercy.” Habakkuk 3:2 (NLT)
Moses had led the Israelites to a dead end! The Red Sea on one side and the advancing Egyptian military on the other. There was no way out. But God made a way!
The Israelites faced a formable foe, whose “camels could no more be counted than the sands of the sea” (Judges 7:12). Yet God led Gideon to whittle down the 32,000 defending warriors to 300. God allowed this small crew to be a part of His deliverance. Of the enemy it says that, “The LORD caused the men throughout the camp to turn on each other with their swords” (Judges 7:22). Impossible, and improbable, but God made a way!
The Israelites once again were facing impossible odds, as a vast army came against them (2 Chronicles 20:2). Jehoshaphat called a prayer meeting with all the men of Judah, with their wives and their kids. Then the LORD spoke through a prophet, “Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle belongs to God” (2 Chronicles 20:15). They were to go out and face their enemy, but not fight them, because God would be doing that! The next day Jehoshaphat sent the worshippers out in front of everyone and the LORD set up ambushes against their foes. It says they destroyed one another! A vast army faced a worship team, and God did it again and made a way where there was no way!
Once again, the Israelites had a strong army breathing down their necks. This time they were giants who were taunting and mocking the God of Israel. Though fear had struck all of Israel’s mightiest warriors, a young shepherd boy named David stepped forward. With God’s help, David took out this Philistine with one stone from his swing and brought a great victory over the Philistines. Where there was no way, God made a way and did it again!
God is the common factor in all these amazing stories. But never did God act alone. A prayerful, obedient remnant had to play a part. Moses, in faith, had to use his staff to part the sea. Gideon had to position his motley crew with torches and horns to watch God annihilate their foes. Jehoshaphat had to rally the worship team and send them out to face a vast army so that God could set up His ambushes. And David had to go down into the valley to face a giant, who was a trained killer fully equipped with lethal weapons and heavy armor. But David ran to battle line picking up a smooth stone a flinging skyward toward Goliath. Undoubtedly, God directed the stone to its target, but David had to fling it! God did it again! And He is about to do it again, AGAIN!!!
In this hour, our nation is at war against a wicked foe who desires to destroy it and us! An anti-Christ spirit is operating and looks unstoppable! But a growing praying remnant of passionate patriots are believing God and what He has revealed through His prophets (2 Chronicles 20:20, Amos 3:7). They are not giving up, even when everything looks impossible. They are crying out for Him to DO IT AGAIN!
Please keep crying out, keep standing in faith, keep believing what He has said through His prophets, and simply obeying Him as He leads you. And run to the battle line! I believe we are about to see epic miracles, if we believe. Don’t listen to the lying fake news and the reports of the enemy. Saturate yourself in God’s word, in worship and in prayer. There is so much focused prayer across our nation and the nations happening right now, agreeing, declaring and decreeing for God to do it again. Keep your fire of worship and intercession blazing before the throne! God is setting the stage to do it again!
