“Because you have made the LORD your dwelling place— the Most High, who is my refuge— no evil shall be allowed to befall you, no plague come near your tent.” Psalm 91:9-10 (ESV)

Yes, a great shaking is coming, many say September! But remember, God’s justice, His judgment, is toward His enemies, not His children! Nevertheless, we all will feel the shake, perhaps a blackout or an internet crash. Some say the economic system will fail, the dollar will be suspended! They say another plandemic with mandates and all! Whatever we go through, please fear not, trust God, and know that we will come out the other side.

In this season it is so important to linger in Psalm 91, declare it over your life, your family, your ministry, your business, your future. You see, if you make the LORD your dwelling and shelter, you will rest in the shadow of the Almighty (v.1)! He will be your refuge, your fortress (v.2)! He promises to keep you safe under His faithfulness as you trust Him (v.4). A thousand may fall at your side, ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not come near you (v.7). We are about to observe the punishment of the wicked (v.8). Again, understand that the shaking that is coming is not about His children, but about the wicked! If you stay close to the LORD, abiding in Jesus (John 15), this psalm promises that “no harm will come near your tent” (v.10). And be ready for His angelic protection (v.11), even right now, thank Him for it!

Yes, a great shaking is coming. As in a terrible storm please find your shelter in God and you will make it through! The dawn is coming, night is almost over, and a new day is about to begin. Double and triple rainbows are already being seen! The storm will rage but the LORD says He will rescue those who love Him, He will protect those who acknowledge His name, He will answer those who call to Him and He will grant us long life (v. 14-16).

Btw, did you know that while the idea of fear not is in the Bible 365 times (once for every day) it is not just a nice teaching or inspirational thought? It is a command from the LORD!

“Haven’t I commanded you: be strong and courageous? Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9 / HCSB)

Take time to marinate, pray and decree Psalm 91 over you and your family every day these next several weeks.
