“Instantly something like scales fell from Saul’s eyes, and he regained his sight. Then he got up and was baptized.” Acts 9:18 (NLT)
We are in a time of transition. Things are going to change quite quickly. Those who have been standing on the wrong side of the fence will suddenly have their eyes open and will be faced with a great dilemma… Will they respond like Saul on the Damascus Road, or like Judas after Satan was done with him? After Saul’s encounter on the, he humbled himself, the scales came off his eyes then God transformed and promoted him. Whereas when Judas’s eyes were open, he saw what he had done and in remorse went out to hung himself (Acts 27:3-5).
The Church is truly at a crossroads. Will we humble ourselves, pick up the cross and follow the Jesus way, or will it simply choose to bury its head, deny the faith (and the authority of the Word) and drink the seductive elixir of the world? Right now, there is such a thick deception over much of the Church, but as soon as Satan is finished with it, he will discard it. He absolutely hates the church, even the deceived church! There are many who have been lured by hyper-grace, or through their compassion. Some are so “anti-something” that they miss the bigger issues, like the fact that this admin is totally against God, His ways, His word and His people.
Cry out for the church to be like Saul on the Damascus Road and not like Judas who when Satan left him. Pray for God’s mercy and grace to surround the deceived church and draw them back in. Pray that they would become champions of the cause against this wicked agenda in our nation, now operating through his human agents. Cry out for God to stir a repentance among the church where we have been complicit, and guilty. Thank the Lord that His judgment begins in His house and that His purpose for it is redemption and refining, not our destruction. Ask God to show you any place where you are riding the fence.
