On the morning of November 11, 1620, the Mayflower dropped anchor just off the coast of Cape Cod. A group of English Separatists, who became known as the Pilgrims, fell to their knees and blessed God for safely bringing them across the “vast and furious ocean” to a New World for a new life. They had written up what is now known as the Mayflower Compact which was signed by 41 of the adults onboard. Later this document became a key foundation for our Constitution. For more information on the Mayflower Compact see https://www.google.com/…/mayflower-compact-colonial…

What’s clear is the very first thing that was done in the New World, on the very beach that they made shore was to pray and dedicate this land to God. They made a commitment to God, to Christianity and to one another. Today, 400 years later this is in the balance. Our nation is on the precipice of turning from God, in fact we are totally leaning that way. Nevertheless, our prayers have never mattered more than right now!

Today at 11am (your local time) please join (hopefully millions of) others from around our nation who will be stopping to pray for our nation. Why not pray for 11 minutes at 11am on 11/11/2020? Or if you’re able, please participate in a formal movement going on during that time. Please check out https://www.11-11jesus.com/ (and be sure to listen to their awesome theme song). But if you’re busy, please simply set you alarm to remind you to pause at 11 and join in the massive prayer cloud that will be resonating across our land! Thanks!!!
