“For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1 (ESV)
God has given us freedom to walk in, and to set others free. Our nation was born because some men loved God, and wanted to worship Him freely. Granted, there were others on the ships that arrived in the new world that had other dreams. But God brought a remnant here to birth His dream!
They proclaimed on the shore that the gospel would go from here to other shores. From the very beginning our nation has existed to be a light to other nations. This freedom is under attack. What happens here won’t just impact our nation, but the nations of the earth!
Pray that our freedom would be preserved. Pray for the church to rise up and fight for our freedom and to preach the gospel that sets people free. Cry out for your pastor to not allow your church to take on any yoke of slavery, whatsoever! Ask the Lord to show you any and every place you have accepted a yoke of slavery in your life, marriage, family, or church!
