“From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been suffering violence, and the violent have been seizing it by force.” Matthew 11:12 (HCSB)
One week ago, our Dawgs won the College National Championship for the second year in the row. Kirby Smart said before the game the word for them was aggression! He went on the say that we are no longer the hunted but the hunters! Btw, our Dawgs not only won, they dominated, by a lot. In fact, the score spread was the largest in any previous championship bowl game! Since, the physical often reveals what’s going on in the spiritual realm, what’s God showing us here?
It’s time to shift from letting the enemy kill, steal and destroy, to releasing Jesus’ life! Spiritual warfare is not just when the enemy harasses us. No, spiritual warfare belongs to us. We’re the ones who have the authority and power to raid and dominate the very gates of hell (Matthew 16:18).
It is vital in this hour that you understand who you are, whose you are and what He has given you! You are His child, chosen in Him for this hour, deeply beloved… He is your Father, the Almighty One who rules and reigns as Sovereign LORD and King of Kings. There is nothing that comes close to being His rival! And the One who has all authority in heaven and earth has delegated it to you!
Jesus said that He has given us authority to trample all the power of the enemy (Luke 10:19), as well as signs accompanying those who believe (Mark 16:17-18). Our authority is greater than the devil’s power! We are to be His supernatural people!
We exercise our authority through faith spoken declarations. We must have faith when we declare and not simply rattle off words. The enemy knows when we believe what we’re saying and when we don’t believe! And when we do believe, it has divine power (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Our words, prayer, blessings and/or declarations have their power because of our faith. When we believe, these are not simply words that dissolve as they enter space. These declarations are to be spoken, even loudly, and continue to work long after the sound wave ceases!
Believe when you declare the word of God for it goes forth with power, and it will accomplish its purpose (Isaiah 55:10-11). Believe when you declare the name of Jesus, demons shutter and flee (James 2:18-19)! Believe when you declare a blessing to and/or over someone that you are actually giving something away of heaven on earth!
In Jesus name I declare that we, God’s chosen people, are not the victim but the victors. We are not the hunted but the hunters. We are not the overwhelmed but the overcomers! We are the aggressive ones storming and plundering the gates of hell and no longer being robbed by the devil! In Jesus’ powerful name I release the abundant life of the LORD over my life, my family, my church and across our city!
