Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9 (ESV)

Which do you want to be, the head or the tail? We actually have a choice in this matter!

Life or death, blessing or curse lies before us (Deuteronomy 30:19-20)! Who will you serve? Biblical Republic or a majority led democracy dictated by a few elites who don’t care about you? God’s plan for our nation, or the devil’s desire for a one world government? A democracy is where majority dictates morality and determines the law of the land. Our Republic was built on higher principles and cannot change just because a majority people are feeling a certain way. As for me and my household, we will serve the LORD (Joshua 24:15)!

Many scholars say that 75% of the Constitution is directly connected to the Bible. Without faith, the Constitution our Republic cannot work. The enemy desires to do away with the Constitution, our Bill of Rights, our Republic and the word of God. It is time for courageous people to stand up for what God has given us in our land!

Courage, like serving, costs us something. Both are a decision we must make. We’re told to be courageous, so obviously, it is a choice we must make! Courage does not accidentally happen. In this hour we must choose which side we are going to fight for. Our silence is duplicity, and makes us as guilty as those committing the crime. But to speak up, to be different, makes us stand out, and it will cost!

Ask God to grant you a fresh grace of courage and faith to fight for Him! Tell Him you will stand and fight the good fight of the faith for Him (2 Timothy 4:7, 1 Timothy 1:18). Pray for your church to rise up and fight for our faith, for our nation and for our children! Pray for your pastor to step up to a new level of courageous leadership, following the Holy Spirit no matter where that leads. Pray for the churches across our city to stand together for life and God’s plan for Athens.
