“Be very careful, then, how you live – not as unwise, but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16 (NIV)

I know it may sound crazy, but just because we have always done something doesn’t mean it is right! Monday, instead of celebrating Halloween, an evil pagan festival, consider throwing a holy party focusing on God, on light, life and purity! Consider having a harvest celebration! Consider having a night of prayer, praise, worship and declaration of life over our city! Take time to cry out for the unborn in our city! Or consider joining us at AHOP to watch and pray over our city from dusk to 4am, or as much as you can.

Please cry out for God to open eyes and hearts across our city to the truth of Halloween and to give us all courage and creativity to do alternative things. Pray for churches in Athens to shine brightly for Jesus instead of participating in a fake birthday party for a dark fallen angelic being. Pray that light would break forth upon all who would be out across our city. Ask God to expose every evil activity before it can occur. Pray that God would do amazing things across our city, of which we’ll soon hear the testimonies.
