How our soul goes, really does matter! Not too long ago, Shellie & I were looking through the photos from my birth through till we got together. I was shocked at some of the emotions I was feeling. We had to stop and pray through many of them. This stroll down memory lane became a very powerful ministry time, loosing disappointment, releasing unforgiveness, cleansing unholy relationships and washing regret from my soul! And I didn’t even know it was there!
Ask God to search your soul and reveal anything that is not holy! Take some time and look over your childhood pictures. Ask the Lord to show you any ties that are holding you back. Ask Him to highlight memories and people you have walked with. Btw, if you have an usual attachment to an item (such as a ring or bracelet, etc) or photo or a person, that is a very good indicator that it has control over you, and your soul is likely tied to it or them. Get rid of it, cut off its control, repent for having it and for resisting the getting rid of it. Ask the Lord to cleanse your soul completely, leaving no trace of darkness or death in it! Now thank Him for cleansing your soul and setting you free!
