From a Biblical perspective there is only a man and a woman. There is no other gender! There is either a “he” or a “she!” Yet we are so politically correct that today we need to be careful of our use of he and she. If a man identifies as a female, we had better acknowledge him and then let him compete against girls though he has the muscles of a guy! Or just because a man identifies as a female, he is allowed to go into the girls bathroom, even though he has all the biological equipment of a male. How disgusting it is for the candidate of the Supreme Court, the highest court of our land, to refuse to say what the definition of a female is! She blatantly mocked God for all to see, and for some reason that is perfectly ok with so many in our nation!!!
Well, taking that thinking to the next level, how would people feel if I came out and said I identify as a black today? I know, my just saying that could be absolutely offensive to many people. But isn’t that where this whole politically correct trash is going? Of course I can’t identify with my black friends. When I look into a mirror I see a white guy. My black friends carry wounds of racism against them that I can never completely grasp.
Identifying with anything other than who God made me is like me saying today I identify as a bird and will fly off this building. It will lead to my death! I guess that is what the proverb is talking about when it says “the way that seems right to man leads to destruction” (Proverbs 14:12). It is absolute insanity, and is ultimately a deceptive ploy of the enemy, that we cannot accept. We cannot play by his rules, because God has already drawn up the rule book.
Pray for the church to wake up from this wokeness nonsense! Pray for your pastor to know how to navigate these twisted perverted times with the powerful and timeless truth of God’s word. Ask God to give him boldness and wisdom to engage in this battle! Pray that your church would stand firm on gender and on marriage between one man and one woman! Pray that the authority of God’s word would be the anchor point of His church across our city and that He would expose those churches who choose otherwise!
