“If you forgive those who sin against you, your heavenly Father will forgive you. But if you refuse to forgive others, your Father will not forgive your sins.” Matthew 6:14-15 (NLT)

God’s word is quite clear that if you have something against someone else, you are to go make it right. Jesus said, stop your worship and go reconcile! But in our cancel culture that has crept into the church, so many people just keep worshipping, while harboring anger, resentment and unforgiveness. Christ followers, stop acting like the world! Do not wait till that person (people) changes, go right now and restore that relationship. To not do so is blatant sin!

Please be praying that God would release a grace to obey His command to go forgive! Our ways, even our feelings are less important than our obedience to God. If you have any place where you have cancelled someone because you didn’t like their political stance, or how they are different from you, or you were offended, ask God to forgive you for judging them and subsequently, holding them at a distance. Ask Him to show you what in your flesh was operating in your reaction. Let Him set you free from it! Ask Him for courage to go make it right and restore that relationship. Pray that for your church and pastor. Ask God to restore the unity of the spirit in our city through the bond of peace (Ephesians 4:3). And thank Him for the blessing He is going to release in every place this happens (Psalm 133).
