“Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.” Isaiah 60:1 (ESV)
Everything seemed to be infused with something these days. Most of the time this is a good thing, but not always. To infuse means to permeate something, usually positive, to bring improvement. It is bringing two things together to make something better. Water is infused with fruit juice. Or fruit juice is infused with vitamins. By definition, if we marinate meat in specially prepared spices and sauce, it is infused, and the barbecued product tastes better. Though the enemy is trying to infuse the entire world with evil, lies, deception and murder, God is infusing us in a different way!
I believe we are in an hour where God is infusing our faith with more of His presence. The outcome of this infusion is His glory manifesting upon us! We are being infused with His glory, with His presence, with His power. And we are better because of it, and so will the world be.
It is declared by the prophet Habakkuk that the entire earth will be covered with the knowledge of the glory of God as the waters cover the seas (2:14). Btw, the waters completely cover the seas! And because God carefully watches over His word to fulfill it (Jeremiah 1:12), we can rest in this promise… the earth will be completely covered with the knowledge of the glory of God! The glory of God will be seen on His people. That is what He is doing today, and why the enemy is trying so hard in this point in history to spread the darkness. “For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and His glory will be seen upon you.” Isaiah 60:2 (ESV)
Cry out for your faith to increase, for His anointing to flow and for His glory to be displayed on and through you! Cry out for your church to be infused with His glory so that Athens would see and have knowledge of the glory of God through His people. Cry out that Athens would be infused with God’s manifested glory, and that people would come here to experience and meet Him! Cry out for His Church to be infused with His glory!!!
