“Let us be glad and rejoice, and let us give honor to Him. For the time has come for the wedding feast of the Lamb, and His bride has prepared herself.” Revelation 19:7 (NLT)
You don’t become a winning team by accident, or by casually hitting the field each week. Ask Kirby Smart as the Georgia Bulldogs continue to extend the record-breaking winning streak! Likewise, you don’t haphazardly prepare for a wedding. A bride knows she has a much to prepare for, to plan, to arrange! From guest lists, to caterers, to flowers and pictures, to the vows and colors, and that’s just to name a few, it takes intentional decisions. Likewise, when you build a house, there are a “million” decisions that need to be made, from floor plan, to color schemes, to appliances, to knobs and floors and doors and… Likewise, walking victorious with Christ doesn’t happen accidentally.
Ask God how to be more intentional in your walk with Him, specifically as you prepare for the wedding feast of the Lamb. Ask Him to show you any place where you have not been intentional in walking victoriously with Him! Ask Him for a grace to help others prepare as the Bride who is at war. Cry out for His wisdom to help build His house in this hour! And pray for a new sense of urgency and intentionality at your church.
