“For there is nothing hidden that will not be disclosed, and nothing concealed that will not be known or brought out into the open.” Luke 8:17 (NIV)
While growing up there was a sitcom called “Let’s Make A Deal” which obviously was about making a deal. The person in the spot light had to make a choice between what was known and the mystery behind this door or that curtain. Sometimes they would trade something very valuable for trash. In looking for a new deal, they would get a raw deal. Meanwhile the Real Deal is left behind and lost. Our nation right now is getting that raw deal, and unfortunately it is not the deal we choose. What was behind curtain number 1 was forced on us. Jesus is the real deal! And He will be presented soon. Though at the moment it looks like we’ve been stuck with a terrible deal, God is working and is preparing to reveal what’s behind curtain number 1.
Thank Him for what He has been doing in this season of shaking, exposing and preparing. Ask Him to prepare His people for what He is about to do. Ask Him to uncover and expose everything that has been hidden for decades and remove it from its corruption of our nation. Ask Him for the grace to hold on, to believe in Him and in His prophets (2 Chronicles 20:20).
