“Without oxen a stable stays clean, but you need a strong ox for a large harvest.” Proverbs 14:4 (NLT)

The proverb mentioned above talks about the strength of the ox, and how important it is for harvest. But with the ox comes a messy stable. So unless you are ready to get out the shovel, don’t ask God to release His presence, power and fire in your church. Sadly, much of the church is satisfied with religion without power. They have a form of godliness but deny its power (2 Timothy 3:5). But revival is at hand, and it will be released where the Holy Spirit is welcome.

While we are waiting for fire to fall from heaven, God is waiting for us to be His vessels of glory here on earth! Do you really want the supernatural released in your church? What do you think it will look like when the veil between the natural is torn and the supernatural flows through our services (btw, it’s getting quite thin)? It will definitely upset the ordered service and time flow. Parents just might not be released on time for picking up their kids right after the service because they will be laid out by the Lord. Just think of the commotion when demons start to manifest all over the room! All this to say, if we want the Holy Spirit to flow through us, releasing His power, it will be messy!

Jesus said, “I tell you this timeless truth: The person who follows Me in faith, believing in Me, will do the same mighty miracles that I do—even greater miracles than these because I go to be with My Father! For I will do whatever you ask Me to do when you ask Me in My name. And that is how the Son will show what the Father is really like and bring glory to Him. Ask Me anything in My name, and I will do it for you!” John 14:12-14 (TPT

Ask Him to release His works, and even these greater works in your life and your church. Ask Him to prepare your pastor and church leaders to embrace the mess that will come as we begin to see the Holy Spirit moving in our services. Ask Him to release the signs and wonders that He promised in Mark 16:17. Ask Him to start it in you, in your life, your home, your workplace, your neighborhood, etc, today! Ask Him to make you a vessel of His heavenly glory here on earth!
