“And He told them a parable to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart.” Luke 18:1 (ESV)
The very end of our pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, says, “justice for all!” Somehow, somewhere this justice has been distorted and perverted. Nevertheless, justice for all is coming! True justice for the innocent who are being treated, well, unjustly! As well as justice for the guilty, the wicked, the pedophiles, the thieves, the liars, those who are acting as if they are better, more elite than others. Yes, justice is coming!!!
Jesus regularly taught His disciples to pray, to pray and never give up. One time He told them to pray, seek and knock until the answer came (Matthew 7:7-8). Another time He used the example of the unjust judge. He said that though the unjust judge may not want to give the poor widow the just judgment that she seeks, he ends up giving it to her because of her relentless requests. As we pray, our adversary hears these cries and is getting worn down by our petitions. We are to be like this desperate widow with unceasing prayer. Except, we are coming before a Just Judge, the King of Kings and Lord of Lords! He will answer our cry. As your voice joins the millions of other voices ascending to the courtroom of heaven, His verdict is about to fall! Please don’t stop, or even slowdown in your praying, especially now! Your persistence matters. Your every prayer is being heard! Though we are facing unjust judges and rulers who do not fear God, God is about to move. Keep crying “Give me justice against my adversary” (Luke 18:3 / ESV). Yes, the gavel is about ready to fall and God’s judgment is coming.
“And will not God bring about justice for His chosen ones, who cry out to Him day and night? Will He keep putting them off?” (Luke 18:7 / NIV)
Right now, pray for God’s holy justice in your life, for your family, for our city, state and nation. Cry out for justice in our courts and government. Cry out for God to render His judgment against the wicked and unjust judges, DA’s and leaders. Cry out as well as for those who are being victimized by these evil agents of the devil! Cry out for our Just Judge to render judgment against the world leaders who are murdering and hurting people around the globe. Pray for justice for the victims in Maui and against the wicked ones who caused (still causing) it! Pray for justice for the children as well as against the pedophiles and dark network of human trafficking. Thank Him for hearing your cries for justice in this hour!
