“Therefore, through Him let us continually offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, that is, the fruit of our lips that confess His name.” Hebrews 13:15 (HCSB)

The enemy wants us to focus on him. His works are going public, just look at the recent Grammy’s or halftime performance at the Super Bowl! No hiding what they were communicating. The devil wants us to fix our gaze on him, to magnify our thoughts on his works. But it is exactly in these times when our praise makes the biggest difference.

The sacrifice of praise may be costly, but the released blessing is tangible! In this hour please choose to worship God, to trust Him with all your heart and do not lean on what your eyes see and your mind tells you! Magnify God! This is a day where the dividends of praise are exponentially greater. Though the world defines magnify as making something bigger than it is, the Biblical meaning of magnify is to praise highly, to glorify, and/or to render honor to God. So…

“Oh, magnify the LORD with me,
and let us exalt His name together!” Psalm 34:3 (ESV)

Today spend more time magnifying God than reading, listening to, and/or watch the news. Take time to consider the many names of God, praise Him for who He is. Pray for your pastor to be gripped by how great our God is, not how dark the days are or how impossible things look.
