“As they prayed the earth shook beneath them, causing the building they were in to tremble. Each one of them was filled with the Holy Spirit, and they proclaimed the word of God with unrestrained boldness.” Acts 4:31 (TPT)
Elijah prophesied that dogs would eat Jezebel (1 Kings 21:23) and was fulfilled after he had been taken away in a chariot of fire (2 Kings 2). That was a very harsh word, not exactly politically correct. And it wasn’t even fulfilled in his lifetime. By many today Elijah would have been considered a false prophet because his prophecy had not been fulfilled. In fact, there was quite a gap of time between the giving of the prophecy and its fulfillment.
Likewise, today, many prophets are coming under attack for their words about DJT. Some go as far as call them “failed Trump prophecies.” But the reality is, with over 80 million votes DJT did not lose the election. It was stolen from him. Even before the election, Biden had a slip of tongue and was heard saying something to the effect: “We have put together the most extensive and inclusive voter fraud organization in the history of American politics.” The bottom-line is, it is not over yet! God is still working in our nation and that which is hidden is now being exposed. God does not operate by our timetable. Jezebel is going down! The evil that is being made into law will not last, nor will this illegal ‘government’ pretending to lawfully lead this nation.
Followers of Christ are not meant to be politically correct. As prophetic people, we are not called to be skirt around true issues and carefully candy coat the word of God, even in our easily offended culture! We are called to speak, pray and live out the word of God, as He gives it to us. And as it has always been, people will not necessarily like it. The truth that sets us free, usually offends us and gets us angry at first. The veil, the deception, the blindness over our nation must be torn down so that truth can be seen! Prophecy should never be evaluated by its political correctness. Evil rulers have always rejected it, and they still are!
Sadly, today too much of the church is afraid to speak the full gospel, or say things that might offend someone. Instead they preach self-help, make me feel happy sermons. And they definitely avoid hot topics such as abortion, sexuality, gender, fraud in the elections, woke-ness, CRT, etc.…, because they don’t want to lose or offend anyone. Many churches also avoid key essential biblical topics such as calling sin sin, eternal damnation and hell, and repentance. Yes, the message of the cross is offensive! It seems that much of the church prefers people happy over being holy! Nevertheless, please understand this, the politically correct will not impact our nation nor will they be instruments of revival. They fear man more than they fear God. They are simply reinforcing a godless system that’s trying to silence the church and the prophetic voice. They are simply leading their sheep to the slaughter to the drum beat of political correctness. They may say, all we need to do is love one another! But love requires us to speak the truth, even if it hurts, because only truth sets us free!
Cry out to the Lord to show you if/where you have been infected with this deception and ask Him to wash it away with truth. Ask Him to shake you, to fill you and give you unrestrained boldness to preach the full gospel (Acts 4:31). Ask God to awaken your church and the churches across our city to speak the word boldly, without sugar coating. Ask God to bless the preaching of His word in our city, even if some people might get upset or mad about it. Ask God to grant pastors and church leadership wisdom and boldness to equip the church in the full word of God and to educate their congregations on how to address (not avoid) the hot topics.
