For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4 (ESV)
Just because you might believe something is correct, or true, doesn’t make it so! The problem is what we believe does impact how we act. There is a reason the enemy masters in deception, distraction and lying! Currently in our nation there are still people who believe the 2020 election was fair, or that the government has our best interest, or that our courts/justice system is impartial! Some still believe the vaccine is necessary, even as the CDC is getting ready to “suggest” an annual booster. Some still believe that non-vaxers are the problem! Some still believe that “science” is accurate, trustworthy and incorruptible (btw, science can be used for evil purposes as German scientist during and after world war 2 have demonstrated)! Some still believe Fauci is innocent, that the world is flat and that darkness wins! Some still believe that the struggle we are having at the house that is white, is simply a political problem, not good vs evil.
The Apostle Paul wrote about strongholds being “pretensions” and arguments in our mind that are set up contrary to the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Strongholds are platforms, obstacles, things that hinder us from knowing the truth! They must come down!!! We are told by a wise person that “as a man thinketh so he is” (Proverbs 23:7 – KJV).
Ask the Lord to show you any and everything that you believe that is not true, even if it hurts! Pray that the veil would come off every person you know who still believes lies (lift them up by name). Ask the Lord to reveal truth to your pastor and to pour our conviction, wisdom and courage to speak it! Pray that the Church in our city would be set free by knowing the truth! Ask God to allow truth to ooze into the cracks and corners of darkness across our city and nation, exposing it for what it is, and then removing it!
