The world was not worthy of them.” Hebrews 11:38a (Berean Standard Bible)

Throughout history, many have stood up against tyranny. In fact, the freedom we are watching ebb away in our nation was obtained through men and women who chose to say no to evil, even at the cost of their lives, their wealth and their reputations! But such has it always been. We’re told that…

“Others suffered mocking and flogging, and even chains and imprisonment. They were stoned, they were sawn in two, they were killed with the sword. They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated— of whom the world was not worthy—wandering about in deserts and mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth” (Hebrews 11:36-38 ESV).

God says the world is not worthy of such men and women! The reality is, you cannot comply your way out of tyranny! It comes with a cost! You have to rise up and say ‘no more!’ Sadly, apparently there are 400,000 pastors in the US and many are complying to tyranny! Pastors need to oppose it! They cannot remain silent in their pulpit about what the evil one and his operants are doing in our nation and world! Congregations need to stand up and ask why their church isn’t standing up against evil, why is fraud and corruption allowed!

Where are the pastors supporting the parents at the school board meetings? Things like CRT, gender confusion and sexual perversion are being rammed down our kids throats! And the parents who do challenge it are called domestic terrorists!

America is getting sick of this left, woke, cancel culture. It doesn’t work, it’s not working and people are getting fed up with it! Yet, still many pulpits are quiet about it. The word simply needs to be preached without compromise.

So many pastors are passive. We are told to hate evil, to resist the devil, to loose and to bind. We can love everyone but not tolerate their evil! We are not loving people by not teaching them what the Bible says about abortion, about gender, about wokeness, etc.

Nevertheless, a baptism of fire is coming to the pulpits across our nation! Keep your eyes out as it is and will increase here in Athens. If you church continues to walk in compromise, flee to one of the churches where the fire is beginning to burn. Yes, there are many churches in Athens that are beginning to burn with a holy fire or are about to!

Cry out for God to raise up another black robe regiment, where preachers would preach, then go out and fight for the freedom in our nation. Pray for God to restore the fighting spirit in your pastor, for him to stand up and say no more to evil and tyranny! And if he is already doing this, declare blessing, favor, and protection over him! Pray for the pulpit in your church to become fiery hot with the word of God going forth and accomplishing all that He desires (Isaiah 55:11). Pray that your church would be one that burns with a holy fire!!! Ask God to bless, protect and pour out favor on those pastors and churches across our city that are standing and preaching the full gospel of Jesus Christ!
