Every morning a text is sent out to 100’s of folks around Athens with the simple purpose of focusing the prayers for our city. These texts are also posted each day at noon on our APN Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/1423907481169281). This is a simple and amazingly awesome way to start the day and to stand in unified focused prayer others from across our city, for our city! With the New Year we added a new element.
Each day a follow up text is sent out with a declaration to simply declare out loud. Across our Athens, God’s kids are declaring His promises, His word, His will, out loud. While Jesus came to destroy the woks of the devil (1 John 3:8), our job now is to enforce that finished work and to operate in the authority that He has given us. One expression of this is making declarations by faith. Our speaking it into the atmosphere literally changes the spiritual realm around us, which will impact the physical realm as well!
