Fall is in the air! Momentum has definitely picked up in Athens. There is a strong sense of anticipation that God is on the move, and that September is significant! This is a time to keep pressing in, of not backing off or slowing down in our asking seeking and knocking! Here are some of the key prayer opportunities going on this month. The Watch – Fall 16

Athens Daily Prayer Texts

Details: Though it is in line with The Watch and would definitely supplement The Watch, these daily prayer texts are simply a way to focus our prayer for Athens. Everyone is welcome to sign up whether they are doing the watch or not. If you do sign up, every morning you would receive a short text with a bible passage and prayer focus. And it is quite easy to sign up for, simply text @athenspray to 81010. You’ll begin to receive these texts on July 31.

APC Prays

Details: APC is starting quarterly prayer gatherings at the Center. Their goal is to ultimately bring together people from every church and faith-based organization in Athens to pray for APC and pray for the Lord to work in Athens. They want to see Athens radically changed and to see the Lord move in big ways, and they believe that the best place to start is in prayer together. They would love to have you join in! Details: This will be the final of four worship & prayer vigils in Athens this summer. These start at 8pm and conclude twelve hours later at 8am. Worship & prayer leaders from across Athens facilitate one or two hour slots. Come for a few minutes, to a few hours or the whole thing. Our theme for this vigil will be crying out for revival at UGA and in Athens!
Night of healing prayer

Details: This opportunity to receive prayer is for the community. Everyone is welcome. Come as you are and drop in during this time.
