| “In the morning, O LORD, hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation.” Psalm 5:3 (NIV) When you pray, do wait before God in expectation? So often our prayers become rote, conveyor belt requests that we dump at God’s feet before running off to the activities of our day. Do you realize that God is waiting to hear your voice? He gives ear to your every request! As you take your desires, needs, concerns and requests to Him, know that He has heard you and will respond. The answer doesn’t always come the way we want it, or think it will, or in your timing, but know this… God faithfully answers your prayers with awesome deeds (Psalm 65:5 – NLT). So, ask every morning keep asking throughout the day (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and wait with expectation confident that He is going to do awesomely because of your prayer! There is much stirring going on regarding this Fall. Continue to cry out for God to move in our city. Believe that your prayers matter. And wait before God to do amazingly in your life, family, church, school and city in these coming weeks!
