In desperate days, God’s people set themselves to pray desperate prayers! And God responds! Historically it is in the darkest of times when God poured out His greatest revivals, which so happened to correspond with His people praying their most desperate prayers. That’s happening today! We live in a day where crises are a typical headline, where the previously unthinkable is happening right before our eyes, where the very fiber of our society is shifting and decaying. The Church cannot ignore the signs of moral decay. We must respond, but not the way the world does. Our response must be to press into God even more, to pray even more fervently than ever, and to obey Jesus as He leads. Please, PLEASE pray and never give up! The Athens Prayer Watch – Nearly non-stop prayer over Athens

Details: We are now one third of the way through our third Prayer Watch. Again this is for three months. People are signing up for one or more 30 minute slot, then watching and praying from wherever they are in that same slot each week. At this point there are 123 half hour slots (out of 336) with 77 participants. Details: This is an opportunity for Senior Pastors to come together to pray with and for each other and for our city. If you are not a senior pastor, take this opportunity and join with us by praying for your pastor during this same one-hour slot.

Prayer Walk
Saturday, March 12 / 10am to noon
UGA Arch – Corner of Broad Street and College Avenue, Downtown Athens
Details: This is our monthly ‘organized’ prayer walk. Each one of these prayer walks are quite unique and exciting. We do it rain or shine, hot or cold, and literally we have done in all those conditions. We meet at the arch and go from there. Please join us as we walk the paths at UGA and/or streets downtown, crying out for God to break forth. Even if you can’t walk you are welcome to come and find a place near the arch and pray! If you are not able to be with us on site, please grab a few moments to pray for Athens and/or UGA from wherever you are at.

Prayer for Middle East
