LORD, I have heard of Your fame. I stand in awe of your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them known; in wrath remember mercy.” Habakkuk 3:2 (NIV)

God is stirring things and pouring out ‘grace-lets’ in our city. This past month was amazing! Easter services brought record breaking crowds to many churches in Athens! Not only did people return, but there were baptisms and many salvations. At Cornerstone for example, there were 116 folks who turned to Christ!!! And prayer continues to be awakened. Just yesterday I was at St. James UMC and we invited folks to step out of their seats and come into the water of revival. Nearly the entire congregation literally crowded the altar praying for lost friends and for God to move in our city. Pastor Bill told me afterwards in a text… “Yes it was a great morning at St. James. In five years of leading the church, I have never had an altar call with that many coming forward to pray for revival. It was awesome.” God is stirring us to pray, because He desires to move and our prayers make a difference in allowing that to happen. Please keep pressing in to God, crying out for revival in our city. Here are some great opportunities for you to join with others in praying this way! Let me especially note our citywide prayer gathering this Thursday night. Check out details below!
