“Instead of worrying, pray.”
Philippians 4:6 (MSG)

It’s pretty clear… don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, pray! As we take our worries, frets, anxieties, fears, etc. and cast them before our Savior who cares for us (1 Peter 5:7), He will replace them with His peace. In fact, it is a peace that the world cannot grasp (John 14:27). We’re told that this peace He gives transcends all understanding (Philippians 4:7). So, take all those things that hinder you, those thoughts that try to hold you down, and cast them upon Jesus. He WILL fill you with His peace so that you become a peace-carrier everywhere you go! And while you’re at it, pray this for those around you, that God’s transcending peace would be felt across our city!!!

Here are some opportunities to pray for and with others. May God rend the heavens and move among us this month (Isaiah 64:1). Please ask for God’s will to be done in regards to the elections. And please get out and prayerfully vote!!!
