And if you faithfully obey the voice of the LORD your God, being careful to do all His commandments that I command you today, the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.” Deuteronomy 28:1 (ESV)

God doesn’t bless rebellion. He does not pour out blessing on us when we do our own thing! Look at what happened in our nation these past 50 years! We have wandered from Him. You can’t disobey and expect God’s blessings to flow in and through your life, your family, our city or nation! For the blessings of God to flow we must actively listen and obey His voice. Jesus said, He is the good Shepherd, and we must listen to His voice (John 10:27). He desires good for us, but there are specific requirements! To not listen leads to wandering out of His desired blessing, out of His protection! Check out what He promises when we diligently obey His voice…

We will be blessed in the city and blessed in the country (Deuteronomy 28:3). It doesn’t matter where you live, you will receive His blessing!!!

Our womb will be blessed (28:4). God will reverse the infertility issues in our nation, in your family, and your own womb! Whatever the jab tried to accomplish will be reversed, and God’s people will have babies again!

We will walk in prosperity, and our pantries will be filled (28:5).

No matter where we go His blessing will be upon us (28:6).

Our enemies will be defeated, and will flee from us from seven different directions (28:7).

The Lord’s blessing will be upon our nation, restoring and establishing a new level of its greatness. The Lord promises to grant prosperity and fulfill what He promised our forefathers (28:8-11).

The Lord desires His people, those who listen to His voice, and obey, to be the head and not the tail. He desires to open the heavens and pour out so much blessing that nations will once again borrow from us (28:12-13).

Pray that His people, who are called by His name will once again listen diligently for His voice and obey Him no matter what He says, or where He leads. Tell Him that you will listen carefully and obey no matter what! Pray for your pastor to listen and obey, relentlessly! Pray that our nation will indeed step back into its place of being a blessing to the nations, a light upon the hill, of being the head not the tail, of lending and giving generously to other nations! Thank the Lord that He is not finished with you nor our nation yet!
