From the days of John the Baptist until now, the kingdom of heaven has been suffering violence, and the violent have been seizing it by force.” Matthew 11:12 (HCSB)

There is a violent reaction when light exposes darkness. Those creatures who dwell in darkness, are suddenly brought into the light and they begin to scurry around, trying to find a shadow to hide in, and sometimes, even attacking recklessly. The gross darkness that characterizes our world today is being exposed, and it is a violent clash between two kingdoms. The enemy has tried to normalize evil, perversion and darkness. Things we have thought were ok, permissible (including in churches) are being shone to actually be evil, tainted with witchcraft, pornography, even pedophilia. Jesus instructed His disciples to pray, declare and live the Kingdom of God (Matthew 6:9-10). You can’t be citizens in both kingdoms! You can’t stand on the fence in this battle! This prayer that Jesus taught us was for spiritual violence! As Elijah declared, you cannot live in between two options (1 Kings 18:21). Today you must choose who you will stand with and fight!!!

Please allow the Lord to open your eyes to see that those who are with you are greater than those dark things around you (2 Kings 6:16). Allow Him to expose demons and witches operating as angels of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Ask Him to expose wolves dressed in sheep clothing and to reveal places where the world, the flesh and Satan has occupied space right in front of your face! It is hard to fight in a battle when you can’t see or discern the enemy. Ask the Lord to show you the enemy’s agents operating around you. Ask Him how you are to pray about this. Remember Jesus said bless those who curse you and pray for your enemies (Luke 6:28). Ask Him how you are to engage in this violent contest between kingdoms! Pray for your pastor as he engages in this conflict between kingdoms!
