“For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.” Proverbs 23:7a (NKJV)

What we believe effects the way we interpret things around us! If you believe we are living in the Tribulation time, you will interpret the world events in light of that. If you believe the 2020 election was untainted and fair, you will probably see that the current government who is all for killing babies, working to establish a one world system and promoting every form of evil, is God’s will (though you probably wouldn’t say it that way). If you believe that the Holy Spirit no longer does the things He did in the first century, you won’t accept the miracles that are happening all around us, even if you see them with your own eyes. If you do not believe that God speaks to and through His people today, you will miss an awful lot of what He is revealing and saying in this hour! If you believe that we are seconds away from being raptured out of this mess, you will be less inclined to live today to advance God’s kingdom! If you believe that all black people are victims and all white people are abusers as CRT teaches, you will actually blindly help promote a racist system full of hatred and division! We see what our worldview filters for us to see!

Ask the Lord to teach you His ways (Psalm 27:11, 86:11) and reveal wherever you are off His holy path (Psalm 139:23-24). Ask Him to show you any place that you are deceived (Matthew 24:4) or are believing doctrines of demons (1 Timothy 4:1). Ask Him to reveal any place where you are seeking teachers who say what your itching ears want to hear, reinforcing what you already believe (1 Timothy 4:3-4). Ask Him to expose strongholds, pretensions in your mind and life that set themselves up against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:4-5). Ask these same things for your pastor. Ask the Lord to stir your pastor to desire and drink nothing but the pure water of the word of God and to craft messages that are true to His word.
