Taste and see!

“Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good! Blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” Psalm 34:8 (ESV)

As I have mentioned before, during this season each Sunday I am out in various partner churches praying and worshiping. Yesterday I was at Athens Church for a beautiful time. The entire service was about allowing the congregation to taste and see that God is good! Though that wasn’t the name of the morning or even mentioned, it sure could have been. Our multi-dimensional God wants us to experience Him in multi-dimensional ways! After a deep time of worship, Pastors Sean and Stephen facilitated a time of journaling, of laying burdens down to Jesus, to listening for His voice and of giving thanks. It was a time of refreshment. One tool that was referred to was the One Minute Pause app (check it out at https://www.pauseapp.com/).

In preparing for Christmas, next week Athens Church starts up a live series entitled “He Shall Be Called!” This is taken from Isaiah 9:6, and specifically will be considering the various names of God revealed there!

Btw, you probably didn’t know this, but AC has intentional prayer going on during both the 9:15 and 11am services! God is building His house of prayer in our city!!!
