“The voice of the Lord is over the waters; the God of glory thunders, the Lord thunders over the mighty waters.” Psalm 29:3 (NIV)
After many weeks at sea, on April 29, 1607, Rev. Robert Hunt led the first prayer meeting by the colonists on the shore, which they named Cape Henry. The previous three days were spent in preparation and repentance on the ship as they wanted to consecrate the land with humble hearts. After planting a seven foot roughly hewn cross (which they had brought from England) in the sand on the beach, they gathered around it to give thanks for God’s mercy and grace for allowing them to arrive safely in this new land.As they knelt in the sand, Hunt reminded them of the admonition of the British Royal Council, which had been taken from the Bible: “Every plantation, which my Heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up.” With his hands lifted to heaven, Hunt claimed the land for king and country, and consecrated the continent to the glory of God. And he declared, “…from these very shores the Gospel shall go forth to not only this New World, but the entire world.” (for the full article see http://www.firstlandingthemovie.com/…/RobertHuntBio.pdf)
From the very beginning, our great nation, has had a destiny, given by God, to be a voice of the Gospel to the nations. God’s blessing has been on our nation so that we could be a blessing to the nations! The voice of God will not be silenced in America! The voice of God is meant to echo over our nation and resonate across the globe. That is the destiny of our nation! And the enemy is trying to silence it, to snuff it out, to nullify our voice and destiny. But the One enthroned in heaven laughs at them (Psalm 2:4).
The greatest awakening is coming and will impact the nations. The devil will not hold back God’s voice from thundering over the waters.
Racism has no place in America! Communism, socialism or Marxism has no place in our land. We outright denounce these “isms” in Jesus name!!!The battle for our nation is not over. Let the Lion of the tribe of Judah roar! Today, be crying out for God to show you and His church, how to roar. Thank Him for His calling on this nation and on your life!
