“For the Spirit-wind blows as it chooses. You can hear its sound, but you don’t know where it came from or where it’s going. So it is within the hearts of those who are Spirit-born!” John 3:8 (TPT)
The wind seems to blow wherever it wants. You can feel it, and you can see the result of it, but you can’t see it. The Holy Spirit is known as the pneuma, meaning the wind or breath of God! At Pentecost, there came a sound from heaven like a violent wind (Acts 2:2). This was the outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon the church. And right now, there is a fresh blowing of the Holy Spirit across our city and nation! This wind is inside every believer!God told Ezekiel to prophesy and breathe upon the dry bones (37:9). As he did a mighty army arose. God is calling us today to prophesy, to speak to the dry bones, to cry out for the Holy Spirit to blow upon the church once again, to arise as a mighty army in this hour.
Ask God to increase His blowing in you! Invite Him to breathe into every part of you. Invite Him to stir up the violent sound of His blowing within you, to affect everyone around you. Ask Him for His wind to blow in your home, your work place, your classroom, and your church. Ask Him to increase His prophetic breathing through His people across our city and nation!
