“And I will give you treasures hidden in the darkness— secret riches. I will do this so you may know that I am the Lord, the God of Israel, the One who calls you by name.” Isaiah 45:3 (NLT)
Recently I had a dream where the Lord led me into an absolutely dark room. I was a bit unsettled when I woke up, after all, darkness can’t be good! Then as I sat with the Lord, He gently opened my eyes. God was in the darkness in Genesis 1:2 before He created light. In fact, Psalm 139:12 says that darkness is as light to God! Then He led me to Isaiah 45:3 saying that there are treasures He has for us in this time of darkness. These are treasures hidden for us here. We are to ask Him from them. There are things God wants for us in this season that will not be available once this season is over. Are you asking God to reveal treasures hidden in the dark places? These could be things He is revealing about you that are being exposed because of the extreme circumstances, such as the root of fear, anxiety, lust, lack of trust in your life. If you are not already doing so, begin crying out for God to reveal these secret riches, treasures in the darkness, so that you will know that He is the Lord!!!
