“Hurl Your lightning bolts and scatter Your enemies! Shoot Your arrows and confuse them!” Psalm 144:6 (NLT)
Apparently, there are over 430 official protests organized across our nation today. And that is not even including Antifa. Likewise, there are widespread threats of riots, revolution, destruction and even civil war starting tonight. Businesses in many cities have been boarded up in preparation for the possible carnage.
Our prayers matter! Please don’t let down your guard, don’t give in to the enemy’s schemes of intimidation. Fight the good fight upon your knees. Join me in praying that God would expose, disrupt and lay to waste every plan of the enemy to destroy our nation. Pray with Isaiah crying out that no weapon forged against us would prosper (51:17). Pray with the Psalmist who penned, “Confuse them, Lord, and frustrate their plans, for I see violence in the city” (55:9). Join Daniel in crying out “O my God, lean down and listen. Open Your eyes to see our despair… O Lord, hear. O Lord, forgive. O Lord, listen and act! For Your own sake, do not delay, O my God, for Your people and Your city (nation) that bear Your name” (9:18-19). Cry out with Habakkuk, “LORD, I have heard of Your fame; I stand in awe of Your deeds, O LORD. Renew them in our day, in our time make them know; in wrath remember mercy” (3:2).
Thank you for praying! Our God is on His throne and laughs at the nations as they rage against Him (Psalm 2:2-5).
