Today Contending for Revival Prayer was opened up for all pastors (not just senior), key leaders and intercessors, and it was amazing how God showed up and led our time! Our starting point was Habakkuk 2:14 crying out for God to make known His glory in Athens, in every square inch of this city, from churches, schools, businesses, homes, neighborhoods, etc. There was a picture of a torrent flow of living water coming down Baxter Street. There were prayers for the uncovering of the true foundation of our city, Jesus Christ our Rock! There was a cry for God to release a joy in the midst of this move. There was a cry for the prodigals to come home, a cry for the young people to turn to Jesus and experience His love and power, a cry for the greater works to be released in and through those willing to humble themselves and allow His glory to flow through them! It was a powerful time before His throne!
