“Be still, and know that I am God! I will be honored by every nation. I will be honored throughout the world.” Psalm 46:10 (NLT)
Millions upon millions of followers of Christ, across the nation and the globe, are praying with an intensity and unity for God’s Kingdom to come and will to be done. God has awakened a remnant church who is seeking His face, repenting, praying, fasting and now, celebrating what He is about to do. Jeremiah says that God is actively waiting and watching to fulfill His word (1:12). He is faithful to His promises. He awakened us to pray, and He beckons us to watch what He does. Literally, He is inviting us to cease striving and watch with Him as He fulfills His word.
Take time today to sit quietly with Him and enjoy who He is. Contemplate upon His faithfulness, His power, His Promises and His love. Thank Him for what is doing and will do in response to the global prayer movement.
