We have been created as supernatural beings. There is more to us that simply our flesh and bone. We know there is more and we long for it. But sadly, because the church has denied the power many are seeking it elsewhere. Psychic networks make millions every year, much of it coming from Christian’s because so many churches have closed down the prophetic in their midst. People are hungry for a word from God, and though God is speaking they are not being training to hear Him. Jesus said, “My sheep hear My voice, I know them and they follow Me” (John 10:27). How can they follow Him if they don’t even believe He is speaking today?
Psychics and paganism thrives because we know there is more power and help beyond the physical realm but overall the church denies it! That’s why so many Christian’s go to psychics. Please be praying over those who will be attending the paganism gathering today.
Pray that the visitors to Athens would not be lured into the demonic web of seduction and deception. Pray that the dark powers would be stifled by the power of God manifested in our city. Pray for angels to be released to war on behalf of our city, for our King. Pray that the Church would wake up, rise up and fight the spiritual fight before us! Pray for the witches, and the vendors who are bringing dark arts to our city to be confused and ineffective in their divination and curses. Pray that Light would overcome the darkness! Pray that those who are prayer walking would move in the Holy Spirit and be led to engage in loving dialog with people at the festival as well as powerfully praying covertly. Pray that every root of witchcraft and paganism would be exposed and removed from our city. Declare with me, the Athens Georgia belongs to Jesus (Psalm 24:1). Thank the Lord that He does speak, that He does move in power, with signs and wonders today!!! May He do that in our city!
