There is an amazing scene in The Two Towers where Gandalf delivers Theoden, King of Rohan, from mind control. Over time, Theoden’s chief advisor Grima Wormtongue had spoken lies over him. When Gandolf enters, Theoden is fully possessed. He had been deceived by Wormtongue’s lies. What we listen to has a much greater impact upon us than what we can imagine. The information we drink effects how we live. And we have been drinking some pretty toxic things these days!
In times of crisis (such as 911, earthquakes, COVID, and elections that will determine the future of our nation) we are desperate for information and think this understanding will bring us a sense of comfort and peace. The reality is it doesn’t comfort us at all. We rely on the media to bring this ‘truth’ to us and we drink it all in.
But there is a false prophet pouring out a delusion over our nation. This false prophet is empowered by a lying spirit. This false prophet is the media! The media has lost all sense of truthfulness. In 1 Kings 18-19 we find Elijah in an epic battle. Following a huge victory over the prophets of Baal and Asherah on Mount Carmel, Elijah receives a report/threat from Jezebel, and instead of running to the Lord, he ran for his life. Ultimately, God asks him, “what are you doing here?” The toxins hit his soul and took him out. Read it for yourself.
The media would have you believe Trump is merely a sore loser and trying to steal the election. Trump is not stealing the election. He received a record number of votes, many of which were not even counted! He is exposing the fraud! And this fraud is not simply a conspiracy theory! It is real and it goes deep. The corruption is so widespread it is shocking and almost unbelievable! Yet people are still listening to the false prophet! And as they drink it in, the delusion continues. By the way, brain washing is real! Chna and other closed nations use it all the time!!!
What we have been given to drink is tainted, even toxic! Who we hang out with (that is what we listen to) does impact us! However, there are other options! Check out these other news sources.

Please pray that this false prophet would be exposed. Pray for people to come out from under the ‘spell’ of this lying spirit. Ask the Lord to show you any and every place you have been deceived (I do this all the time). Ask Him to do it in the Church starting with yours. And remember, always bring the report/threat back to the Lord and filter it with His word!
